Comment Forms are also available, providing community members with an opportunity to voice their concerns and questions about air traffic noise, the Airport's growth and expansion plans, the progress of the Study, and other areas of interest.
"We're really interested in hearing from members of the community about how their lives are affected by aircraft noise," said Eric Bernhardt, a Senior Associate with Leigh Fisher Associates, the lead consultants to the Regional Airport Authority.
"Feedback from the residents is an essential factor in the success of this Study," Bernhardt affirmed, "and it's our hope that these Public Information Centers will help facilitate that involvement."
In addition to the Public Information Centers, citizens may also access information concerning the Study through the project Website, at http://www.sdfnoisestudy.com, or by calling the Study information line, at 502-583-5867. Both resources allow for feedback from members of the community.
The public can also participate by attending Study Group meetings. The next meeting is scheduled for July 29 at 6:00 pm at the Fourth Presbyterian Church, located at 3016 Preston Highway, in Louisville.
