Between 3-5 a.m. the aircraft noise is unbarable. I can't sleep. Additionally, there is a very large UPS Jumbo Jet that flies over between 4-4:30 p.m. It is so low that it hurts your ears. Additionally, just this week aircraft have been flying west of the railroad tracks over residential areas whereas they haven't before.

Yesterday around 11:00 a.m. there was a greenish government aircraft (jet) that flew so low that we felt vibrations inside our ears. My husband was putting our 5 month old child in the car and I had to run over to him to help cover his ears. Why are these aircraft allowed to fly so low? Additionally in the past week there have been what looked like large bulky old military planes fliying very low to our home. Why has it been this past week lately that the noise has been very very loud?

I was awakened last night again repeatedly by UPS planes. Thought you'd like to know that. Thank you very much.

Again repeatedly, I was awakened by UPS planes last night, and again if they'll route them over I-65 it would be greatly appreciated.

This is the first thing I've seen for the public on the airport noise. Is there any assistance or monies for insulating/soundproofing a home directly under the takeoff and landing path?

The noise was terrible last night. It was continuous since 8 p.m. the evening before. Please help. When will there be any relief?

I am just making a formal complaint about aircraft noise.

Shelby Park Neighborhood

This letter comes out of concern for Shelby Park Neighborhood Association, Inc. At various times of night, usually around 12 midnight, the planes traveling south are so low and noisy, it's hard to sleep. During the day, the planes traveling along the same southern approach path are so low and noisy, if you happen to be on the telephone you have to wait to complete the conversation. Were any noise abatement tests taken in this area?

Two or three weeks ago there was something on television about aircraft noise and possibly being able to have your house insulated for sound barrier purposes. How do you determine which houses get insulated? I live at Shelby and Lynn Streets. We get planes flying over our home all day and all night.

I have a porch & patio that my wife and I enjoy very much in the evenings (6:00 P.M. till 12:00 P.M) and weekends all day and night and have noticed lately that the air traffic over my house has been light. I don't know what has transpired but I do like the results VERY, VERY much.
Thanks.

I'm calling to complain about the excessive, unbearable noise that we have experienced the last few days but most particularly last night and all day today from the planes that are taking off to the north and crossing across the edge of Audubon Park. It is just unpresently loud. The weather is beautiful you can't even open your windows, if you do you can't hear yourself think. Thank you.
