I’m going to the Human Rights Commission and file a complaint for noise and suffering. Also getting together a class action law suite on Human Rights violations. There is just too much noise and nothing is being done about it.

I have had noise for 2 years now. It comes from big and small planes. The noise gets as high as 60-64 on my decibel meter. I want to know where it comes from. Every since the parallel runways have opened up someone is routing all the small planes over my house. I call every two months or so, just to remind you we are still out here in Spencer County.

Planes were really low on the night of 12 February. I have a medical condition and want to know when something will be done. I also want to make sure I get notified of the next study group meeting. This call is to make sure you received my complaint of 15 FEB 01.

This morning at 4:00 a.m. planes were flying low over my house. This mostly happens on the weekend, and mostly on Saturday morning between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. It seems about 3 out 7 aircraft are flying lower than the others.

Since 10:30 p.m. tonight (11:45 as of this writing), the noise has been ridiculous. Constant, loud and intrusive. I have a heavily insulated home, and live in heavily residential neighborhood. It was not this way when I bought me home. I want to know why. If this continues, I will be exploring means of redress.

I’m calling to inform you that I have been charting loud, low planes. Several dates in January, I’ll have to get you more detail on those as far as times, but the dates that I charted them on were: 1/17, 1/18, 1/22, 1/24, 1/25, 1/27, 1/28, 1/29, and 1/30, and 1/31. In February loud, low, frequent planes flying extremely low over the Loi Road area, that’s L-O-I Road area toward Moser Knob Tower, the radio tower area. They would go from Loi over to Moser Knob area than back to Louisville; they’d make this loop like they always do. In February with time on the 3rd of February at 11:55 in the morning, big o’ plane was like a maybe, old and gray like an Air National Guard extremely low over Loi Road. Heading towards Moser Knob tower area and back to Louisville. Then on the 6th around 11:25, on the 6th it was very extremely low again big o’ gray, loud, low plane around 11:25 or 11:30 in the morning. Again Loi Road heading towards Moser Knobs tower area and back to Louisville. On the 7th around 8 P.M. and again around 8:55 or 9 P.M. and then around 11 P.M. they started loud, low, and frequent. Then especially on the 8th now around 1 in the morning again loud, low, and frequent from 1 A.M. to 2 A.M. Around 2 A.M. they looked so low, they looked lower than the tower area, and they’re still coming off in the distance…

My question is why do we receive a lot of big planes? Most of the time when I look, it’s an UPS plane that comes over starting, say approximately around 12:30 at night and there about every 2 to 3 minutes a part and it sounds like there’ll be mixture of big planes and every now and then a small plane or a smaller plane. And I’m wandering why get all this heavy traffic this time of morning?

Yea, I’ve got a complaint about all the noise tonight from 10:30 PM on; it’s now almost midnight. It’s been constant, loud, incredibly loud, one after the another. It’s pretty damn bad and I want to hear why.

I am calling in reference to the noise study. We have airplanes all night long from like, the really bad part starts about 10:00 at night and ends about 6:00 AM in the morning. And the airplanes are so low over our house that it wakes me up. I’m up and down all night just because of these airplanes. And we have lived here for 27 years and this has only been happening the last, I guess around the last three years and it’s horrible. And we would like to see something done about it.

Savannah Drive

I’d like to complain about all the air traffic that goes over our house so low and so frequently at night; it’s very, very disturbing. It starts, you know like right at bedtime and continues through the night.

This morning, today is February 24th, and this morning between 2:00 approximately and 6:00 there was this constant low sound but high-density type roar; I mean like a base roar that rattled my windows. And then the planes would finally take-off, but it seemed like they were just doing that forever before they took-off. And I would find myself just holding my breath waiting for them to take-off. I was under the impression that the perimeters are supposed to be closer together now. That’s not the word I want, I can’t think of the exact word, but the edges of these flights were suppose to be more toward the I-65, these are coming closer more and more often they’re coming over Taylor Boulevard. In the past week we’ve had awful lot of flights that have been low and loud and turning over our home. And I want to know what is going on that we’ve so many noisy flights and the rattling, our windows and stuff. Also, I would like to know how many decibels they heard when they did that noise study in my area. Thank you very much.

I bought a home in Old Louisville about 3 _ years ago. There was little to no airport noise. It has grown steadily, until tonight it is intolerable. It is horribly loud and every 2-3 minutes or so (from about 10:45pm till about 2am). Sleep is hopeless. They are flying ‘em right down Third St. like we’re some kind of runway extension.
If this isn’t corrected pretty quickly I’ll be selling. And if it goes unchecked it’ll be the death of Old Louisville, guaranteed. I request that the Mayor do something about this. UPS shouldn’t be allowed to drive us out of our homes.

Frequent, very low flight, over the 700 block of Iowa ave. High in noise volume, and frequently, esp. during 12-6AM times it rattles windows etc. Please evaluate passge and check your vectors on your noise study map. Thank you. Also I have been trying to get your phone noise reporting line and no one answers, nor does they recording come on, it just rings. I have been sick or I would have called and/or written ore often with complaints/reports of increased noise.
